How do you deal with Negativity and Difficulties in your life?

Updated: Apr 26, 2024

Do you run from the situation, hit it head on, or do you freeze?

It's a hard one to answer, everyone is different and every situation is different.

I have been dealing with a serious issue that has required my complete attention, in fact it was taking over. It rocked me to my core and stopped my creativity within my business in its tracks, literally.

So my answer to my first statement is that it froze me.

I needed to retreat and get comfortable with this situation so I could find a solution and heal from it. I wanted to be able to move on without it, raising its head again.

I needed to remember my truth and what I stand for, why I do what I do. I had to remember my personal and business mission statement.

I needed to go deep inside and find my strength again.

I needed to cry and get angry to move this out of my body.

I moved and danced and allowed emotions to bubble to the surface and leave my body.

I felt all the emotions and gave myself permission to feel them without judgement.

I have now surfaced properly and can now move forward with confidence.

I have worked hard to get where I am. I have created this space in my business, and love my work. No one can take this from me, ever.

I am excited for what my business and myself have to offer others. I'm excited for my community events that I hold regularly.

I am excited for the little things and I will continue to be grateful for the different situation. I'm grateful for my sisters who supported me and sat in the mud with me. They offered me words of encouragement when I needed them most. That's what happens when you allow a difficulty to blossom into a blessing.

Let me know how you deal with these situations.

Leanne.
