Exhaustion Journey

I was just looking back to 2018 and I found a really interesting post on my facebook page.
It actually made me cry as I can actually remember the pain that I was in at the time.
Below is what I wrote:-
"I’m 3 weeks into my recovery from extreme exhaustion, massive headaches, brain fog and just a feeling of being not myself.
I’m feeling amazing. Just amazing.
Tiredness gone. ✅
Headaches gone ✅
Brain fog - what brain fog. ✅
Weight gain - lost 6 kilos without doing anything but eating well . ✅
I was really unwell and just didn’t have the energy to do anything.
So what’s my secret.
I’ve been juicing every morning.
Celery juice.
Lemon in water. I love my lemon 🍋 essential oil in the morning.
Grazing on Green veggie juices all morning.
Do you know what this allows your liver to do. ??
It allows my liver to complete the detox process.
Drinking celery juice and lots of water during the morning allows your liver to remove those toxins from your body before we begin adding fats and grains.
I’ve also been taking some lovely nourishing supplements that have allowed my body to heal itself.
How cool is that.
Now I’m walking my dogs daily.
I’m able to think clearly.
I’m able to concentrate on my oily business and have a vision.
Amazing. 3 weeks. !!!!
Did I use any essential oils. You bet it did.
I was targeting my gut health and my liver.
My oils of choice were cilantro. - assists liver to detox and gut function
Lemon- Detox and aids the gut
Oregano- supports gut flora
Clove - helps remove unwanted nastys."
This exhaustion and all the other symptoms was how I experienced a Hashimotos flare up. I had never experienced this before as I was only diagnosed in 2016.
I have been tweaking my diet, mindset and exercise ever since. It is never finished. It is always a journey. A journey of more layers of self discovery.
